A playlist of awesomeness, April to July 2024
In March 2024 I started Ziggy’s Lament. It was inspired, in part, by the frankly herculean list-building of my friend Ziggy (Stephen to his mum) who compiles a top hundred tracks of the year to share with another friend. My version of this has been my regular Listening2… playlists. In that series alone, I’ve posted tracks I’ve been ‘listening to’, which in turn, lead on to albums, live performances, films and sessions.
This catalogue/playlist, however, is a record of all the posts, tracks and films I’ve published here this year. You can work through it systematically, or just click the links randomly. Either way you’ll find some brilliant music and maybe fall down the rabbit holes I and my guest writers have been lovingly digging for you throughout last year. Part 1 - March to July - is below.
